It started with Luka.
And a simple hello.

Brett wanted to create a relevant, inviting learning experience for his children. Something that connected with their world, made space for their imagination, and gave their curiosity somewhere to go.

For his son Luka, that idea became a daily podcast. A little show made with Luka in mind, built around the kind of experience Brett knew his son would respond to.

That was the part that mattered most. Brett had made something personal for his son, and Luka loved it. A simple idea had become a learning experience that felt inviting to the child it was made for.

It gave Brett a reason to think beyond his own family. If this could mean so much to Luka, other children deserved the chance to experience it too.

HeyLuka grew from that belief: every child should have the opportunity to learn in a way that feels personal, welcoming, and relevant to them.

Their questions. Their interests. The people and pets they love. Those familiar details can become the starting point for something new — a discovery, an imaginary adventure, or an idea they want to explore.

Our hope is to nurture creativity, imagination, and a desire to keep learning. The same care that went into making Luka’s show is what guides the experience we’re building for other families.
